Tuition
All our standard courses include 15 hours per week of English classes over 4 days, with 2 full-day excursions each Wednesday and Saturday. See a sample of our timetable here.
All classes will have a maximum of 15 students and we will ensure all language levels contain the minimum possible age range.
All students will receive an attendance certificate with a progress report.
We do not use a commercial coursebook in our language lessons as these tend to be under-utilised and restrictive. Instead, we have a comprehensive collection of resources for teachers to use in classes and we provide all students with a Stars Language folder in which to keep all their work.
Young Learners
The Junior course for students aged 8 – 11 is taught separately from the older students. We aim to recruit specialist teachers for this age range and teach in a dynamic way with plenty of movement and interaction.
Placement Tests
All students are given a placement test on their first day of classes to ensure they are placed at the correct level. We offer classes at 5 levels from Elementary to Advanced. See some examples of expected competencies as defiined in ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe) framework table.
